Founded by our fearless leader, Don Pursel, The Board Shop opened in 1977, a small shop with lots of dreams. As the years have pasted, the business has grown and so has our store. We are now 7,000 square feet of snowboards, surfboards, wakeboards, skateboards, mens & womans surfwear, and skatewear.

We guarantee our knowledge and expertise in the products we sell. If we don't have a product that you are looking for we will try and locate it for you. We strive to be the best in all we do.


We offer a free waxing & tune up with purchase of any snow board. Our seasonal leases and daily rentals are the finest equipment. Our technicians personally set up your board to fit your needs. We offer
snowboards and wakeboards for men, woman, and children. All our technicians undergo months of training to learn about the products we sell so we can personally select the right board for you.

We work diligently to provide our customers with the newest trends and products by staying on top of the industry. We do our best in maintaining our knowledge and expertise. All our employees not only sell our products but ride them as well.
